Reporting directly to the Head of Transfer Pricing in Australia, this is a key role within the Group Tax team to help provide hands-on support for all transfer pricing related matters including policy, operational implementation, compliance and tax controversy support for the ERM Group. The role will have exposure to various transfer pricing projects including operational transfer pricing implementation, BEPS 2.0, and Public CbCR.
The role will require a candidate with excellent communication skills, self-motivation and initiative with the ability to work independently across cross-disciplinary functions to assist with the on-time delivery of projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day activities for outsourced transfer pricing compliance including liaising with external advisors and local finance teams.
- Managing CbCR process including process improvements, data collection and analysis.
- Assist with BEPS 2.0 compliance activities.
- Monitoring transfer pricing developments globally.
- Support transfer pricing audits, including partnering with regional tax directors to respond to tax authorities on matters relating to transfer pricing.
- Providing transfer pricing guidance and training to stakeholders and business units.
- Assisting with the delivery of transfer pricing projects.
- Identifying and supporting process improvements to transfer pricing processes.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or economics. • Minimum of 5 years of tax experience including at least 3 years of experience in an advisory role either in house or at public accounting firm
- Prior knowledge of BEPS 2.0 and OECD transfer pricing documentation requirements is preferred.
- Prior experience in managing large transfer pricing compliance programs for a multinational is preferred.
- Ability to work independently but also collaboratively as part of a wider team.
- Strong data management and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders and present technical transfer pricing concepts to a non-tax audience.
