Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role will report to the Head, Transformation Office and will be responsible for planning, executing and overseeing strategic and transformation projects across Maybank Singapore. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and key senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects / programs that drive business growth, innovation and change within the organization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, finance, or a related field; PMP, Agile or other certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Management Consultant / Project Manager, with a track record of successfully managing large and complex transformation programs / digital transformation projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience executing and implementing project management and change management initiatives in large and complex organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic planning efforts to align projects with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Develop and present business cases to support project initiatives, ensuring clear articulation of benefits, costs, and risks.
  • Lead end-to-end project management for strategic and transformation initiatives including scope definition, project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with business and support function stakeholders to understand their objectives, requirements, and transformation agenda, and leverage agile principles with a customer-first approach to facilitate continuous improvement and iterative delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project strategy documents, timelines, and budgets to ensure project success.
  • Establish the Program Management Office (PMO) structure, reporting framework, templates, channels, and cadence to effectively monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and keep key stakeholders informed.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and buy-in through effective communication, negotiation, and influence strategies.
  • Manage and monitor project progress, establish and track key performance indicators, and ensure project milestones are met, on time, and within scope.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
  • Serve as the main contact point for key senior management of the Bank, program stakeholders, providing regular status updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
