QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or relevant fields.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in transition management, with a focus on offshoring and relocation.
  • Previous experience in a management role, overseeing teams and complex projects.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in offshoring and transition management.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proven experience in transition management, particularly in offshoring and relocation projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to develop and execute detailed plans and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate collaboration and support among teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to identify and address potential risks and issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel between Singapore and India as needed.

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is seeking two experienced Transition Managers to support an offshoring project to India. The selected candidates will work under the Project Manager’s supervision, facilitating the relocation of approximately 200 employees from various departments. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in offshoring, transition management, and relocation, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing the offshoring project, ensuring the successful transition and relocation of approximately 200 employees.
  • Develop and implement detailed transition plans, timelines, and processes.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams in Singapore and India.
  • Identify potential risks and issues related to the transition and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide training and support to employees affected by the relocation, ensuring a smooth adjustment to new roles and environments.
  • Monitor and report on transition progress, ensuring milestones are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements throughout the transition process.Travel between Singapore and India as required to oversee transition activities and support project success.
