MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 22 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years’ experience working with high school students or transitional age youth preferably in workforce development
• Available to work Monday-Friday during program hours with some weekends and evenings
• Must have strong facilitation and classroom management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to operate various data tracking systems including CMS, Salesforce, Workforce Central, and EMS.
• Knowledge of youth development practices and conflict mediation
• Familiarity working with schools and/or community-based agencies
• Proven ability to work with people from a variety of different ethnic, socio-economic, educational, religious, sexual and generational backgrounds.
• Must be highly motivated to provide quality After School opportunities to teens & transitional age youth
• YMCA approved CPR and 1st Aid certification - can complete upon hiring

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Bi-lingual skills in Spanish or Cantonese
