The YJET Program supports young people aged 14-16 improve their literacy and numeracy in a flexible, supportive, and youth-friendly environment, with a focus on becoming job-ready or reintegrating back into mainstream schooling.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Transitional Senior Case Manager, you will:
- Support young people engaged in the YJET program to transition into further education/training or into employment
- Develop interventions including increasing life skills, goal setting, advocacy, referrals to external services, capacity building and group work
- Use your skills to build and maintain positive relationships with the young people you work with
- Work within the YJET classroom, as well as in outreach within the community
