Job Purpose:
Performs a variety of administrative and coordination functions to support the Translation and Resourcing teams to deliver high quality results and on time delivery of translation projects. Applies working knowledge of the translation function and coordination skills to ensure effective resourcing and delivery of translation projects.
This is a great opportunity for recent translation/administration/business relations/project management graduates to start in an entry-level role in the Localization Industry in an administrative role.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Full Professional Proficiency in English (mandatory)
  • Good working knowledge of German (ideally)
  • Degree in Translation, Languages, Administration and similar or experience in Project Management or Administrative Assistance
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Excellence – Actively learns about translation processes, policies and tools (e.g., Trados Studio) in order to perform their own work efficiently and effectively when coordinating different translation projects. Performs project activities such as file analysis and preparation and sending prepared information to translators.

  • Delivers Quality, Value, and Results – Contacts qualified linguistic resources and applies best practices and processes to translation projects to deliver on time and as per our customers’ quality expectations.

  • Relationship Building – Builds strong relationships with different team members (internally and externally) by demonstrating strong communication skills (e.g., clarifying requirements, providing timely updates).
