Translator – English to French

The opportunity
We are presently looking for professional translators working from English to French.
Your key responsibilities
As a member of EY’s Translation Services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality translation services to both internal and external clients.

Main tasks will include:

  • Translating from English to French in areas such as finance, accounting, taxation, management, marketing, human resources and information technology
  • Managing several assignments and priorities at the same time
  • Making meticulous terminology research
  • Sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues

Skills and attributes for success

  • Be able to occasionally work under pressure, within a dynamic team of versatile professionals

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A university degree in Translation at the undergraduate and/or graduate level
  • Be able to occasionally work under close time constraints, with a dedicated team of flexible and versatile professionals
  • This role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally where fluency in French and English is required. Bilingualism in bothFrench and English is therefore a requirement of this role.

Ideally, you

  • Are a member of OTTIAQ; other professional orders (Barreau, CPA) are taken into consideration
  • Have some experience in Translation in a structured and supervised professional environment
  • Have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment
