Looking for Transmission Networking Engineer

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in performing network upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze and modify MOPs to improve operational outcomes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software.

• Perform upgrades on customer networks in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
• Review Method of Procedures (MOPs) and propose adjustments based on customer requirements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to L0 and L1 technologies promptly and effectively.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of DWDM and OTN technologies to maintain and optimize network performance.
• Preferably possess experience with Ciena optical devices for seamless integration and support.
• Available to travel to customer locations for on-site work as required, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective client communication.
