Job Description
Reporting into the Transport Manager, the Transport Admin is responsible for daily delivery operations. This consists of the delivery of appliances at customers’ premises in a timely and professional manner. The Transport Admin will operate with a continual focus on Safety, Service, Cost and Team. The Transport Admin will operate and align with company values.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years transport and logistics experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative and problem solving.
  • Results and targets driven with a proactive can do approach.
  • Intermediate level computer literacy including Google Suite, Microsoft Office and the use of large ERP/WMS/TMS systems.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good multitasking skills and experience.
  • Excellent team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate transportation activities, including the movement of goods and personnel.
  • Liaise with drivers, and customers to ensure smooth transportation operations.
  • Manage and update transportation databases and records accurately.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for transportation-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments, warehouse, and customer service, to optimise transportation processes.
  • Approving contractor invoices.
  • Follow up on missing payments, manifests and outstanding return orders.
  • Optimise transportation schedules to maximise efficiency and reduce operating costs.
