Description:
ACS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS ARE RECRUITING A TRANSPORT COORDINATOR TO JOIN OUR HILLINGDON CAMPUS.
The Transport Coordinator is required to oversee transport requirements for the school in order to deliver a safe and efficient service to students and staff, and to comply with the requirements of the Vehicle Construction and Use Regulations.
ACS Hillingdon’s 11-acre campus is less than 14 miles from central London. Our magnificent Greater London campus has outstanding facilities, and a wealth of history, art and culture right on its doorstep.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Good level of numeracy and literacy
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills – good communications skills on the phone, face-to-face and on paper
- Good attention to detail and highly organised
- Able to work with minimum supervision and to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Flexible approach to performing a variety of tasks. Team worker.
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines and to settle problems in a calm manner.
- Transport Coordinator experience preferred but not essential
Working hours: Monday- Friday 07.30- 17.30, all year round.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bus operations, ensuring punctuality, safety, and efficiency.
- Liaise with authorities and contractors to ensure compliance and resolve issues.
- Manage routes, pickups, vehicle fleet, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and manage budgets effectively.
- Address customer queries, complaints, and billing discrepancies.
- Maintain and monitor contracts, service levels, and legal documentation.
- Coordinate transport for school activities and ensure safeguarding compliance.
- Perform risk assessments and collaborate with internal departments on traffic flow.
