Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5.30pm
We are looking for an experienced Transport Manager to join our friendly team.

  Extensive previous experience in a similar role within the logistics sector
• 
  Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• 
  Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• 
  Proven track record in driving operational improvements and achieving cost savings
• 
  Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
• 
  Ability to work well independently and part of a team
• 
  Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office

  P&L Accountability
• 
  Meet budget guidelines
• 
  Ensure HGV legislation is adhered to
• 
  Ensure OCRS rating is maintained, and Operator licence is managed effectively
• 
  In house audits and compliance checks
• 
  On-going driver training and refresher training
• 
  Investment in drivers training and development
• 
  Create and monitor vehicle efficiencies
• 
  Keep up to date and notify the business of changes in standards and legislation
• 
  Ensure all drivers hold the relevant entitlement for the vehicles they are driving
