• Lead the Group’s Primary Connect+ ambient transport (road and rail) operations team ensuring safety, service delivery, financial performance, and strong carrier relationships.
• Partner and collaborate with stakeholders (Operations team, Business Development team, Distribution Centres (DC), Primary ConnectX team, Replenishment, Commercial, Quality & Compliance) to achieve service goals, prioritising safety, load optimisation, and network integrity.
• Lead and empower ambient operations teams to foster a customer-centric, high-performing culture.
• Drive the adoption of new technology and processes that enhance the value proposition for all platform stakeholders, including team members, customers, carrier partners, and DC teams to unlock operational efficiencies and drive innovation.
• Drive the overall performance of the ambient carrier partners and our relationships to ensure optimal service delivery and continuous improvement.Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by promoting compliance, improving safety performance, and thoroughly investigating incidents.
