SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous scheduling role or equivalent experience will be highly regarded
  • Proven background in administration and coordination, ideally in the transport and logistics industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in data and information entry, with a strong attention to detail, excellent critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Highly developed organisational, planning and computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the scheduling, coordination and monitoring of movement of the Fleet in line with Fatigue Management
  • Manage site levels in accordance with their requirements and daily usage
  • Manage load request times for DG customers followed up with responsive communication
  • Liaise with our fleet maintenance department to ensure effective planning of scheduled maintenance
  • Ensure safe, cost effective and reliable distribution of products
  • Ensure optimum configuration and maintenance of best practice
  • Daily internal reporting outlining activity, forward planning and daily delivery volumes
