SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous scheduling role or equivalent experience will be highly regarded
- Proven background in administration and coordination, ideally in the transport and logistics industry.
- Demonstrable experience in data and information entry, with a strong attention to detail, excellent critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Highly developed organisational, planning and computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the scheduling, coordination and monitoring of movement of the Fleet in line with Fatigue Management
- Manage site levels in accordance with their requirements and daily usage
- Manage load request times for DG customers followed up with responsive communication
- Liaise with our fleet maintenance department to ensure effective planning of scheduled maintenance
- Ensure safe, cost effective and reliable distribution of products
- Ensure optimum configuration and maintenance of best practice
- Daily internal reporting outlining activity, forward planning and daily delivery volumes
