DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Transport Shift Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods, dispatching orders and tracking transportation vehicles.

• To support the Transport Manager in providing a fully compliant operation, operational expertise, ensuring the transport operation is efficiently run
• To ensure compliance is being met in line with the Road Transport Regulations and WTD
• To manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames while always maintaining standards of excellence
• To monitor recruitment levels and initiate staff training as required, keeping up-to-date records in-line with company policies and also to carry out any investigations or disciplinaries as required
