Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Team Member. Reporting into the Transport Lead and based at distribution centre in Wiri, this is a key role to provide support and ensure that TWG Distribution Transport operations are managed in a professional, productive and cost-efficient manner, while balancing the need to deliver high levels of service.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Manage daily equipment hire for all TWG DC/ stores.
- Ensure current manuals and training guides are managed and monitored.
- Ensure the integrity of the equipment hired by TWG is monitored and maintained
- Maintain and drive for continuous improvement with vendors
- Ensure that key performance targets are achieved
- Control costs to budget through daily monitoring
Qualifications
Experience and Qualifications:
- Ideally you will have 2-3 years with retail / consumer industry experience.
- Ideally you will have 2-3 years with logistics / equipment hire experience.
- Strong administration skills around invoicing, maintaining equipment management systems, updating training guides, monitoring budget targets and data management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills
