Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Transportation Analyst to join our logistics team, specializing in international airfreight. The ideal candidate will analyze and optimize our airfreight operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely transportation of goods across global markets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation analysis, with a focus on international airfreight.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in logistics software and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international airfreight regulations, customs procedures, and industry standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with global supply chain management.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in international airfreight operations.
  • Cost Optimization: Develop strategies to reduce transportation costs while maintaining high service levels. Negotiate contracts with airfreight carriers to secure the best rates and services.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve transportation issues and ensure smooth operations. Monitor and manage airfreight shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Compliance: Ensure all international airfreight operations comply with relevant regulations and standards, including customs and security requirements.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and present reports on transportation performance metrics to management. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of airfreight operations. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
