Description:
We are evolving our business strategy to become a total beverage company by giving people more of the drinks they want. In this role you’ll be providing operational and other transportation support to our internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be a key member of the Customer Service & Transportation team and involved with daily operations while also being linked to strategy execution and supply chain optimization initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related field experience
- 2+ years relevant work experience in Over The Road Transportation
- Experience with Oracle Transportation Management systems and SAP preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; clear, effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail, ability to thrive under deadlines and work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results.
- Demonstrated ability to review issues and provide recommendations for resolution
- Candidate must demonstrate integrity and dedication and have a positive work attitude and strong work ethic.
- Strong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills, and works with a sense of urgency.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to TMC on all issues requiring escalations and approvals.
- Resolve problems, including identifying issues, thinking critically to determine the best course of action, and implementing solutions.
- Support CS&T team on critical weather event activities, plant outages, special movements and other transportation related items that may require attention.
- Timely resolution of issues and proactive communication with appropriate stakeholders.
- Manage and track transportation freight claims.
- Participate in weekly meeting cadences with TMC
- Lead productivity initiatives supporting Transportation Operations
- Other administrative activities supporting Customer Service & Transportation team
