YOUR CAPABILITIES AND CREDENTIALS
- CAD experience is required
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2006/2004/2008/2010.
- Knowledge of lighting software and basic engineering is preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects within a fast paced environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
P.Eng. registration in Canada
Minimum 6 years of experience in engineering consulting

Responsibilities:
- Oversee design process from feasibility through completion and liaise directly with clients on major projects
- Perform detailed electrical design work and review the work of junior designers.
- Direct CAD team for drawing preparation and review deliverables before submission to the client
- Prepare written reports based on building electrical assessments and audits
- Prepare written tender documents and technical specifications. Evaluate products and contractor proposals to make award recommendations to the owner
- Work with management to develop business strategies related to new clients and potential growth areas in electrical engineering
- Assist with proposal preparation and contacting new clients to grow business
