Description:
Our engineering client in Kitchener, ON region is looking for a Transportation Engineer for their facility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 10+ years of experience in Transportation Design.
- Previous experience in managing transportation projects and preparing documentation.
- Proficient in monitoring budgets, schedules, and quality control for transportation projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a highly skilled team of engineering professionals.
- Passion for working directly with clients and engineers on medium to very large transportation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and review transportation project plans, designs, and specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed projects.
- Perform traffic studies to analyze current traffic conditions and forecast future traffic patterns.
- Evaluate the impact of proposed developments on existing transportation systems.
- Oversee construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress.
- Resolve any engineering issues that arise during the construction phase.
