ARE YOU THE NEXT TRANSPORTATION INTAKE SPECIALIST?

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate, required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field, preferred.
  • Analytical thinker who proactively seeks out solutions.
  • Thorough, detail oriented with ability to multitask.
  • Bilingual Spanish-English a plus.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication in English.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a current Texas driver’s license, and evidence of auto liability insurance.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE?

  • Manage client data and take reservations for transportation trips using a strong knowledge of funding sources and eligibility requirements.
  • Coordinate with callers when appropriate to optimize trip times and best support our drivers.
  • Support our drivers by scheduling trips in an effective and accurate way.
  • Enter client data completely and accurately.
  • Ensure that the client database is up-to-date, and the information is correct for every caller you speak with.
  • Answer phones in a courteous manner and provide information to the caller including available services, trip confirmations, and general questions.
  • Be passionate about providing the best service and experience for every caller.
  • Follow up with client needs and return calls in a timely manner.
  • Be diplomatic about negotiating pick up times with clients to optimize the driver’s schedules.
  • Provide support to the dispatch team as needed.
  • Assist dispatchers by answering client questions as they arise.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the funding sources and eligibility requirements for rides.
  • Maintain effective communication with the transportation team as a whole.
