Description:

    Amazon’s European Transportation team is responsible for our transportation network’s connectivity across Europe to deliver billions of shipments each year. We collaborate with multiple internal teams (e.g. Transportation Design, Supply Chain, External Fulfillment, Tech, etc) to ensure a speedy and reliable customer delivery in the cheapest way possible.
    As a Transportation Product Manager a you will be a key member of the Product team, responsible for defining and executing the product vision that drives the development and growth of our key initiatives. You will act as a crucial link between business stakeholders and tech teams to ensure that our products align with strategic business objectives and meet the needs of our customers.
    You will develop a deep understanding of Amazon’s products and will be responsible for comprehending your customers’ needs to deliver optimal product solutions. Managing a diverse group of stakeholders, you will plan, communicate, and execute the day-to-day development and enhancement of our products, ensuring they meet the right specifications. As a subject-matter expert, you will leverage your analytical skills to identify and address the root causes of any issues that arise, while also driving long-term standardization and automation initiatives to enhance product efficiency and team effectiveness.
    The position is based in Luxembourg.
    Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage the framework supporting Amazon’s product portfolio
  • Work with business and tech teams to define and implement product changes to ensure alignment with the strategic product roadmap
  • Support the day-to-day product operations, optimization, and expansion. Plan, communicate, and execute the implementation of product updates, ensuring they meet the right specifications
  • Deep dive into data and issues to drive short-term fixes and long-term product improvements
  • Deliver results through extensive cross-functional collaboration with multiple internal teams
  • Drive long-term standardization and automation initiatives to enhance product efficiency and team effectiveness
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and serve as the single point of contact for requests and issues related to specific products or regions
    About the team

SCALE is a team with Transportation Network Configuration, delivering innovative solutions to ensure long-term scalability of the EU network configuration. The team is composed of a mix of SDEs, BIEs and Product Managers who work together and cross-team to automate, simplify, standardize and audit configuration of transportation and sortation data.

  • Product Management or related experience
  • Advanced or Master’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field
  • Knowledge of SQL
