JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the supervision of the Co-VPs of Supply Chain and Logistics, the main responsibilities of this position are to supervise all daily operations relating to transportation, to act as the transportation resource person, and to actively contribute to the improvement of current practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Between five (5) and seven (7) years’ experience in logistics, warehousing and/or transportation;
  • At least two (2) years in personnel management;
  • Experience in manufacturing company;
  • Experience in customs management (an asset);
  • Ability to communicate in French and English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the transportation team and support them in their daily operations;
  • Perform daily door/dock management with the Logistics Technician;
  • Ensure excellent collaboration with Distribution and Intra-Logistics Supervisors in the overall management of operations;
  • Handle communication and order management between customer service and distribution;
  • Support the Logistics Technician in claims management;
  • Actively participate in the development of the transportation matrix;
  • Maintain and monitor the department’s KPIs;
  • Assist with issues in customs.
