The responsibility of Group Product Management, GPM, is to balance the commercial needs with solutions for the customers and steer the funding of capabilities to reach the result defined by TRATON Executive Board. To secure outstanding customer value we have a business and market driven product and service management organization.
The TRATON AB office, located in Södertälje consists of experienced colleagues with various backgrounds and nationalities from all TRATON Group brands, representing Group Functions for all brands e.g. Group Product Management, Group R&D and Group Finance. We enjoy solving strategic problems cross functional and cross brand in the TRATON Group. We strive for a climate where opinions and knowledge are openly shared within and between teams and we welcome new ideas in order to create dynamic synergies.
The team of Group Product Planning’s main task is to secure each Brand’s success by balancing all Brands’ requirements into common TRATON Group roadmaps. The function manages the component roadmaps and budget buckets over time, securing successful implementation of the Traton Modular System.
Now we are looking for an experienced manager for the role Head of Powertrain. In this role you will report to Head of Group Product Planning. Together with your team, you are responsible for the TRATON Group Product Planning in the area of Powertrain. Your team consists of senior product managers who ensure that we initiate the right products at the right time and secure that they are funded in close collaboration with commercial product planning in the brands and the corresponding area within Industrial Operations. The role is on a second line manager or comparative level (MK/OMK). The position is at the TRATON office in Södertälje, Sweden, with starting date as soon as possible.

• You have a proven track of management and leadership experience
• You enjoy working in a complex and strategic environment dealing with both technical, commercial and financial topics. You have a broad knowledge in these fields and you act future oriented and solution based
• We expect you to have an established network within the group and act as a role model in cross brand collaboration
• As a person you are driven, self-motivated and structured with a high level of integrity
• You enjoy working in an international fast-pace environment and use your flexibility and creativity to manage various levels of challenges
• Beside excellent English skills further languages are welcome
