Description:
The Puyenpa family of companies are comprised of multiple SBA Certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified organizations focused on delivering Information Technology, Management Consulting, and General Construction solutions to the Federal Government along with the Commercial Sector. We are actively seeking a Travel Accounts Payable Assistant based in Washington D.C. This position is onsite and has a duration of six months with the possibility of being extended.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Puyenpa team supporting our efforts with a transitioning government entity. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide data entry input into and assist in maintaining the Travel Accounts Payable
- systems for tracking travel reimbursements, timelines, and statuses; maintain accurate records of travel expenses and reimbursements.
- Responsible for providing travel reimbursement payouts support.
- Handle travel reimbursement requests efficiently, ensuring government compliance with policies; maintain accurate records of all travel-related expenses and reimbursements; ensure all reimbursements adhere to organizational guidelines.
The qualified candidate will have the following knowledge and experience:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, providing customer, basic clerical, and administrative support.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
