Job Description: We are seeking 2 Travel Consultants.
We are looking for 2 Travel Consultants. This job is required to perform duties and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to the following:
Ø Consultation and Itinerary Planning:
- Engage with international and domestic clients (via email, phone, or in person) to understand their travel preferences, interests, and budget.
- Create customised travel itineraries and holiday packages, showcasing the best experiences in Australia and New Zealand, including accommodation, transportation, activities, and tours.
- Advise on local attractions, activities, and cultural experiences to enhance clients’ trips.
Ø Booking and Coordination:
- Handle bookings for accommodations, transport, and guided tours, ensuring seamless coordination with local providers.
- Negotiate rates and services with suppliers to provide cost-effective travel solutions.
Ø Customer Service:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after their trips, addressing any issues or changes promptly and professionally.
- Provide detailed information on travel requirements such as visas, health and safety protocols, travel insurance, and local regulations.
Ø Market and Promote Travel Packages:
- Develop and promote new inbound tourism packages and experiences that cater to a diverse range of international tourists.
- Support marketing activities, including creating promotional materials, online content, and participating in travel expos or industry events.
Ø Travel Documentation and Administration:
- Manage travel documents, itineraries, and vouchers, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
- Maintain updated records of client communications and bookings in the CRM system.
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job
- A relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification or higher
- At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the qualification requirement
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Be a team player but also able to work independently
