Reporting to the Sales Manager, this position requires a personable, persuasive, and success-driven candidate with strong organizational skills and advanced proficiency in CRM. The candidate must possess strong consultative selling skills and the ability to listen to the customer’s needs and be comfortable managing data, tracking customer interactions, and utilizing analytics. Adventure Canada’s sales are conducted primarily through phone and digital communications, but the role also requires the ability to deliver compelling in-person and virtual sales presentations, as well as attend industry trade shows and events.
We are hiring for multiple positions within Ottawa, ON; Hamilton, ON; Kitchener, ON.
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
We provide a competitive extended health benefits package after successful completion of the probationary period, and you’ll also be eligible to join our Deferred Profit-Sharing Program after six months of active employment.Overarching duties and responsibilities
Connect and build rapport with prospective travellers over the phone, email, social media, and in-person to drive and close daily sales and meet service KPIs
- Qualify prospects utilizing a CRM, data analytics, and asking the right questions
- Ensure the use of correct booking processes and procedures for streamlined and accurate sales
- Build and continue to develop in-depth regional knowledge of the people, ecology, and places on Adventure Canada’s travel calendar
- Connect inter-departmentally as an active contributor to improve our processes, policies, and our guest experience
- Self-motivate, demonstrate initiative, and a strong commitment to personal goals, objectives, and work ethic
- Represent Adventure Canada at tradeshows, events and on expeditions
- Embody and articulate the Adventure Canada ethos of travel as an engaging tool to make the world a better place through meaningful connection
