We have an exciting new opportunity for a Sales Executive within our multi-award-winning Travel company Carr Golf Travel.

We are now looking for a highly motivated Sales Executive to provide first class service for prospective (mainly inbound) clients travelling to Ireland and Scotland to play golf. Each enquiry is highly personalized and individual, therefore thoughtful listening and engagement is required to tailor make the itinerary to match each clients’ bespoke requests. Our Executives will liaise with our world class golf, accommodation, travel and entertainment suppliers to create memorable experiences that last a lifetime. Once booked, it is the Sales Executives responsibility to ensure a seamless transition to our dedicated Fulfilment Team to take over and deliver every little for the client prior to their trip and whilst on the ground.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to and following up on incoming email and phone enquiries
- Utilize marketing resources to help drive effective lead generation programs and activities.
- Determining guest’s needs through active listening, to advise them appropriately on destinations, tee times, accommodations, transport and costs.
- To plan, cost and sell golf tee times, accommodation and ground transportation to guests
- Book transportation, green fees, make hotel reservations
- Collect initial deposits from guests
- Maintaining client files and entering data into software programme.
- Ensure the orderly and effective tracking of sales performance
- Network with clients and industry partners
- Meet sales targets as measured by team KPI’s
- Working closely with the Operations & fulfilment team to ensure a seamless transition for our clients during handover.
- Support the Sales Manager & CRO in developing leads and wider market opportunities through US Sales Trips, referrals, sales, calls, networking and cold calls.
- Conduct regular competitor, market and product analysis to identify growth, pricing and upsell opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships / partnerships with key industry influencers to meet business goals
- Maintain and expand product/supplier knowledge to ensure clients receive the best experience possible.
