Treasury in Cloudera is a growing & dynamic Department encompassing management of Cloudera’s working capital, debt, and banking relationships. In addition, the treasury team is responsible for managing Cloudera’s risk exposure both financial and business. The treasury accountant will assist the wider team in delivering a best-in-class service to Cloudera in all the above & more.

As a Treasury Accountant, you will:

  • Monitor daily cash balances and prepare daily liquidity reporting.
  • Assist in executing cash management strategies to optimize liquidity.
  • Develop and maintain short- & long-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Analyze variances between actuals & forecasts, providing actionable insights.
  • Lead the month/quarter-end close process. Ensure all treasury journals are booked on time.
  • Prepare flux commentary on the P&L & Balance sheet to identify variances and action where required.
  • Support the SOX process for treasury.
  • Be the point of contact for all audit-related queries.
  • Support efforts to enhance internal controls and risk management practices.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances in cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk exposure.
  • Assist in conducting financial risk assessments, including interest rate, foreign exchange, and credit risk.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and presentations for management review.
  • Support banking relationship management activities, including account maintenance and documentation.
  • Support all treasury payments including Intercompany settlements.
  • Monitor bank fees and service charges, seeking opportunities for cost savings.
  • Utilize Coupa treasury management systems (TMS) and other financial software to manage treasury operations and analyze financial data.
  • Help maintain and update treasury-related databases and reporting tools.
  • Assist in implementing system enhancements and process improvements
  • Continuous cross-training within the Treasury team to allow for development and vacation cover.
  • Participate in improvement projects and initiatives in addition to performing day-to-day tasks.
  • Ongoing review of systems and processes to ensure departmental compliance.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as identified and required.

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Qualified/part qualified accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA.
  • 1-3 years of experience in treasury, finance, or related field; experience with cash management or financial analysis preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software; experience with treasury management systems (TMS) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and perform financial modeling.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and to efficiently interact with various groups across the company as well as outside of the company.
  • Experience with NetSuite preferred.
