Robert Half is working with a local property management firm who is in search of a Treasury Accounting Manager to join their team. The role primarily involves supporting treasury and cash management operations and helping to develop strategies that maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets, and minimize costs. This position is integral to the team and requires a firm understanding of both treasury operations and general accounting functions. Responsibilities:

  • Supports treasury and cash management operations and helps to develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets and minimize costs
  • Oversee corporate liquidity, line of credit management, and treasury operations such as wire transfers, line of credit and cash positioning, online platform access and bank account management.
  • Manage capital market risk, interest exposures, and cash positioning reporting across multiple financial institutions.
  • Oversee preparation of cash flow budgets and forecasts and ensure their accuracy.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s banking infrastructure, including bank and brokerage relationships.
  • Oversee the administration of bank and credit card/expense report programs.
  • Ensure the accounting for investments, purchases, trade settlement, gain/losses aligns with US GAAP and IRS regulations.
  • Review monthly financial statements and supporting workbooks for multiple entities to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices or IRS Tax Regulations.
  • Identify potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities and take appropriate action.
  • Liaise with department/company leaders to ensure that the entity remains within budget and leaders receive timely updates on entity finances.
  • Review property and excise (B& O) tax returns and ensure that company taxes are paid in a timely manner.
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and review of budget reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures, and applicable laws in the management of accounting and cash management activities.
  • Participate in special projects involving process improvements, software upgrades, and supporting business growth.
