We are currently looking for an experienced Treasury/ Accounts Payable Specialist to join our existing team in Amsterdam and shape the future of global commerce with MODIFI!

• Handling daily requests from Transaction Managers to provide international payment confirmations by extracting SWIFT reports from banking system
• Timely and proactive response to specific payment requests (not received or rejected payments) by resolving any issues together with our banks
• Collecting and processing invoices and other payment requests by daily updates of payment registers across several legal entities
• Performing validations of invoices by getting confirmations from owners of the invoice or expense claims
• Assisting in preparation of payments instructions in banking system
• Supporting with bank balances reconciliation
• Other ad-hoc requests related to payments.
• Assist with operational cash bi weekly updates including monthly forecast
• Manage daily Treasury functions including producing daily liquidity reports
• Manage relationships with banking partners
• Assist in month end/ad-hoc treasury reporting
• Assist on completing ad-hoc KYC requests
• Assist with automation relating to payment capturing and financial administration

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience
• Trustworthy individual with experienced in working with different banking or payments systems
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of SWIFT payments and system
• Proactive, accurate, attentive to details and well organized
• Strong communicator in liaison with internal and external stakeholder such as banks
• Able to work in fast paced and dynamic environment and to deliver on time
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in English, knowledge of German or Dutch is a plus
