Responsibilities:
Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a Treasury Analyst to join our team in London on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Treasury Operations Manager, this is a role covering operational and strategic activities involving managing internal and external relationships, accessing complex financial instruments and managing ‘cash and debt’ to enable efficient and effective Treasury activities. This will include, but is not limited to, cash management, accounting, forecasting and reporting. There is a high degree of relationship management and driving efficiencies whilst managing risks within strict prescribed limits
Key responsibilities:
- Funding MO into the short, medium and long term within specified limits and managing associated risks across all time horizons. Making significant and strategic choices potentially daily
- Managing daily liquidity within facility limits and counterparty limits whilst monitoring future events such that all significant cashflows are incorporated into funding decision
- Being suitably confident and empowered to act autonomously and swiftly to mitigate risks or issues that may arise
- Building relationships to ensure forecasts are complete and suitably detailed
- Enhancing market skills/knowledge to become a touch-point for colleagues and partners with regards all Treasury related matters
- Provide efficient, concise, precise and swift reports to assist the business by providing a strategic view of possible options and outcomes
- Develop. enhance and improve regulatory and other regular reports driving efficiencies and reducing manual requirements
- Alert to potential cost savings and seeking efficiencies.
- Attending meetings, training and being self-motivated to maintain high levels of professional knowledge covering market evolution and areas of potential strategic and financial interest for MO
