The Role
As the Treasury Analyst, you’ll support the build out and execution of the strategic elements of the Treasury Agenda for the Resolution Life group in Australia and New Zealand.
This will be a hands-on role to support the local and group Treasury teams to deliver against multiple challenging and interesting deliverables.

Some of the things you will be accountable for include:

  • Contribute to the establishment of a strategic agenda for the Treasury function
  • Process development and documentation
  • Training and development of team members
  • Provide support with the Credit Ratings model & management presentations
  • Framing and compiling the Treasury Policy
  • Working closely with the Resolution Life Group and local project team on establishing a Treasury Management system
  • Manage Debt and financial covenants held by RLA
  • Manage Liquidity & Cashflows for the Life and Service entities of RLA
  • Development and implementation of the strategy for investing shareholder assets in conjunction with investment management team.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong ability to work individually without direction, take initiative
  • Ability to deliver against milestones proactively and deliver results against tight deadlines
  • Excellent ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively with a wide network
  • Project management skills

Ideal experience

  • Experience working with senior Finance stakeholders
  • Experience in Liquidity Management and Credit Ratings Agency internal processes
  • Experience working in an insurance or financial services/investment banking/insurance company specifically in the Treasury space
  • Experience of bringing together policies into one place and compiling presentations for senior audiences, as well as distilling these complex topics into a presentable format
