Description:
We are in search of a Treasury Analyst to join our team in the Investment Management industry, based in Stamford, Connecticut. As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a key role in managing our treasury-related operations, including cash forecasting, liquidity management, and involvement in treasury-related projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and adjust cash positions for multiple international entities.
- Carry out borrowing activities under both secured and unsecured facilities.
- Ensure precise recording of loans and interest in the loan database.
- Handle the preparation of daily and extended cash forecasts for various corporate entities in different currencies.
- Manage the settlement of intercompany loans.
- Collaborate closely with the corporate accounting team to ensure all treasury-related activities are recorded accurately and promptly.
- Analyze FX cash positions and forecasting to ensure FX cash needs are met while minimizing exposure due to currency market fluctuations.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency.
- Support the management of bank accounts.
- Use SQL for database management and other related tasks.
Please note that this role does not allow for a transition into a different role type.
- Proficiency in cash forecasting techniques is a must for this role, as the Treasury Analyst will be responsible for predicting future cash needs.
- A strong understanding of liquidity risk management is essential, as the Treasury Analyst will be required to identify and manage potential shortfalls in cash resources.
- The Treasury Analyst should be well-versed in SQL, as they will need to extract, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to inform financial decision-making.
