About the team
Sitting under Treasury and Capital Markets advisory team, we work across different service lines within Deloitte to provide services in valuation, accounting, and financial risk management advisory.
What will your typical day look like?
As part of the Treasury and Capital Market’s team, you will get involved in all aspects of Australian financial markets:
Delivering high quality treasury, valuation and accounting advisory services to the market and clients for a variety of purposes, including financial reporting, deal assessment and transaction support
Collaborating with specialists across a diverse range of disciplines to deliver integrated services for some of Australia’s largest publicly listed companies and private businesses
Growing the capability of our team. This includes working through technical matters, quality review of deliverables and models as well as coordinating client engagements and liaising with the broader team to manage projects from end to end on a high volume of varied projects
Coaching and developing a team of talented juniors to ensure the highest level of service delivery and support their growth both personally and professionally.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are an intellectually curious professional with experience in professional services or financial services. Your strong investigative techniques, analytical mindset and holistic view coupled with your experience in finance, treasury and accounting will set you up for success in this role. In addition, you will require:
2+ years’ proven experience in professional services or financial services
Strong understanding in treasury, finance, valuation and accounting principals
Genuine passion and experience for solving problems innovatively and bringing fresh ideas to the business
Demonstrated knowledge of capital markets and financial products and the associated accounting
Proficient financial modelling skills and capability to design and build complex financial models are preferred

AS A SENIOR ANALYST, YOU WILL ALSO BE EXPERIENCED IN:

Leading quantitative projects and supporting your findings and recommendations with evidence from relevant sources
Engaging with stakeholders to create insightful reports and presentations and
Deliver / co-deliver to executives and public company board meetings
