We are looking for a Treasury Assistant to join our evolving Group Treasury function, working closely with the Group Treasury Manager to manage banking and liquidity across the company.
Group Treasury has an important role in our market-leading business, and this is a great opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience.

Responsibilities

  • As part of our Group Treasury Team, you’ll be reporting on our multi-currency cash balances and movements across the Group, and developing our processes, controls and outputs in this area. You’ll also be assisting with the management of our liquidity, including our deposits and money-market funds and drafting and maintaining financing and repatriation agreements.
  • With over 250 bank accounts across the Group, you’ll be responsible for managing our database of banks and bank accounts, including account details, mandates, authorities, and contacts.
  • You’ll also be administering changes to these bank accounts, as we increasingly centralise our treasury operations with a few key banking partners.
  • You’ll need to develop good relationships with these banking partners, and be responsible for the KYC requirements of these partners.
  • In addition, your will create and maintain Group Treasury process documentation, and participate in other Group Finance ad-hoc projects and working groups.
  • You will present on the above work at Group Treasury Committee meetings, chaired by the Group Finance Director, and be responsible for drafting actions and minutes.

Key requirements

  • A further education qualification in a relevant discipline is preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience of finance or treasury processes and controls is desirable.
