Description:
Reporting to the Senior Director & Assistant Treasurer, the Treasury Manager is responsible for the management of various treasury functions including the oversight and direction of UL Solutions’ Asia cash management function, provide treasury representation on various cross-functional teams, and supporting Treasury leadership with various initiatives.
- Leads cash management process for the region. Supports treasury globally on cash concentration and consolidation goals and processes.
- Manages and coordinates in-region intercompany loans and settlements (including netting), dividends between UL entities and capital contributions.
- Manages the alignment and consolidation of bank activity for in-region entities.
- Manages bank account administration (including Know-Your-Customer requirements), the creation of wire transfers, and debt compliance analysis and reporting as applicable.
- Manages the analysis of treasury accounts and processes, recommends, and implements process improvements.
- Cash forecasting for legal entities to manage liquidity and bank facilities.
- Manages Bank fees and fee structure, daily cash position, and short-term investments
- Oversees investment management for in-region post-retirement plans
- Supports Finance and other functional management on various issue resolution.
- Represents Treasury on various cross-functional teams and provides support on company initiatives.
- Performs other duties as directed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments such as Accounting, Tax, Legal, Insurance & Risk Management, and international affiliates to drive successful treasury initiatives.
- Background in treasury activities, corporate loans, banking, and corporate insurance functions.
- Experience in AR collection, finance support, and cash forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging across multiple levels and functions, including delivering clear presentations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities, including identifying potential issues and providing cross-functional solutions.
- Experience in a global business environment, with a solid understanding of global processes and transaction flows.
- Basic knowledge of Accounting theory and principles.
- High proficiency in computer skills; treasury workstation experience is highly preferred.
