Description:

Nexi, the leading European PayTech company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Manager for the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region. This role will be crucial in managing the financial operations and supporting Nexi’s growth in these key markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day treasury operations for the DACH region, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and bank relationship management
  • Develop and implement treasury strategies aligned with Nexi’s overall financial goals
  • Manage cash flow forecasting models and ensure sufficient funds are available for operational requirements
  • Monitor and optimize cash positions across DACH entities
  • Implement and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and controls
  • Collaborate with the finance team on process optimization initiatives
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic financial projects in the region
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and reporting requirements
  • Manage foreign exchange risk and hedging strategies for the DACH region
  • Contribute to the development of Nexi’s digital payment solutions and strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant role either from the payment industry or from designing and managing large and complex cash management and intercompany setups for a large corporate and/or a financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of DACH financial markets, regulations, and banking systems
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Proficiency in treasury management systems (e.g. Kyriba) and ERP software
  • Fluency in German and English; knowledge of other DACH languages is an advantage
