Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an opportunity for a Treating Psychologist to be part of our Workforce Safety, People and Capability Command team. The role works in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver, outcome focused, evidence-based treatment for employees suffering a psychological injury. The role provides work focused interventions that aim to support employees to recover in the workplace, or successfully achieve a durable return to work following absence, as a result of a work-related psychological injury.
We are looking for a motivated psychologist with a passion for therapy and a desire to help NSW Police Force employees navigate recovery from psychological injury. The Treating Psychologist will also have opportunity to deliver psychoeducation packages to Commands and Leadership teams, offering you excellent opportunity to network and build connections within NSW Police Force.
The successful applicant:
- Will have a strong knowledge of evidence-based treatments for psychological injuries.
- Shares passion on helping other through psychological therapy.
- Enjoys working as part of a multi-disciplinary team which provide holistic treatment to our clients.
