Description:

We are hiring a Treatment Coordinator to join our team at Wildwood Dental.
The selected candidate will support the growth of the practice by ensuring that production levels are increasing by closing or assisting in closing treatment plans generated by the doctor.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience working as an RDA or treatment coordinator.
- Dental knowledge and knowledge of dental insurance.
- Organized, systematic, and with good follow-through.
- Excellent communication skills, poise, confidence and professional appearance.
- Patient services orientation; creating a safe and effective environment.
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm and ability to think on his or her feet.
Responsibilities:
- New Patient interviews/patient relations.
- Educates and discusses the dentist’s treatment plan, after the dentist has diagnosed and reviewed the treatment with a patient. Prepares a thorough written treatment plan as per the doctor’s instructions.
- Discusses dental benefits when applicable. Sends pre-estimates and follows up with patients. Prepares and submits all pre-determinations from treatment plans.
- Presents fees and gives estimates of treatment; documents financial arrangements/ commitments to pay.
- Educates patients about veneers, implants, crowns, bridges, Ortho, Perio, and any other treatment that was diagnosed by the dentist.
- Tracks and calls patients with incomplete treatment plans; send follow-up letters.
- Utilizes technology in the office, e.g. digital photos, intra oral camera photos to educate patients and discuss treatment.
- Schedules and confirms patient appointments, procedures and consultations.
- Monitors treatment plans, case acceptance, production and collections.
- Recognizes client rights and the inherent dignity of the client by respecting privacy, and maintaining confidentiality.
