Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring our trees and hedgerows flourish for generations to come.
ABOUT YOU:
We are looking for a positive, conscientious individual with a meticulous eye for detail. Whether you’re an experienced Tree Officer or aspiring Senior Tree Officer, your track record in managing TPOs, tree work applications, and Conservation Area Notifications will be essential. You will bring strong organisational skills and a good knowledge of GIS systems, confidently engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including the public, council colleagues, and private sector partners.
Your specialist knowledge in development management will be key to promoting sustainable growth within Dorset. If you have a depth of understanding in arboriculture and a passion for preserving our unique arboreal landscape, we want you on our team.
At Dorset Council, we value collaboration and strong interpersonal skills. Your ability to unite teams and foster partnerships will be pivotal in continuing to enhance Dorset’s natural beauty. We also understand the importance of work-life balance, offering flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home.
