The company operates internationally in the communications, defence, security and government services market, and is established as a world-leader in digital signal and video processing on embedded systems.
The company is building upon the commercial success achieved to date, and now needs to appoint an enthusiastic individual to support the management of a rapidly growing inventory.
We are currently looking for a Trials & Cusotmer Demonstration Manager - This position would suit an individual comfortable with customer facing role in a predominantly military or military procurement authority environment; capable of converting a generalised capability need (e.g. add a new product to an existing demonstration kit and ensure its ready for use) into direct implementation (Identify and procure parts, design the installation, install, bring into use and document/train/demonstrate to others); Organised across task and task breakdown, to timescales, across occasionally multiple projects.
You will be able to deliver on REUK’s requirement to deliver complex and vehicle-scale technical demonstrations and trials or experiments. This role will support Sales outcomes (winning business), Marketing outcomes (acquiring leads), Engineering outcomes (Verifying performance and/or Validating requirements), or Training outcomes (training other REUK staff and partners, or potentially Customers).

• Maintain the REUK product demonstration resources
• Sales and Demo fleet of sensor and visualization products
• Maintain and Catalogue
• Update and improve
• Logistics - Shipping, loan out/in, deliver to Trials or Demo Sites
• Produce internal guidance documentation, kit lists, processes
• Deliver Demonstration
• Maintain knowledge currency on all product functions and operations: demonstrate all features
• Demonstrate and discuss product function and operations with customers and visitors (as a member of the Sales and Business Development team)
• Train other trials operatives (in house, corporate colleagues or external incl. customers or resellers)
• Setup and present demonstration in a professional and engaging way, projecting REUK’s company image
• Convert a high level trials or demonstration user requirement (e.g. Marketing request for demonstration proposal for a UK MOD facing exhibition event) into a plan, with task breakdown and resource requirements, and to project manage and physically deliver (build, test, transport, train or demo) that plan.
