POST SUMMARY

The role of the Trinity Global Experience Manager will be to manage and support the Trinity Global Experience team’s and other College student services activities across the entire lived experience of international students of which circa 35% of the student body (7500 students) is comprised.
Reporting to the Associate Director for Trinity Global Experience, the role will work proactively to review the supports and services developed during the current Global Engagement strategy (GRS3), [re]design and deliver supports and services for international students to ensure a positive international student experience in line with the current institutional and global engagement strategies. In addition, this role will manage complex student cases as they arise liaising with services both internal to the College and externally. This new role will have both operational and strategic components.
This role is part of the ongoing restructure of the Trinity Global Experience team and will have responsibility for the management of core deliverables within the team. The Trinity Global Experience Manager will have four direct reports (International Student Liaison Officer (AO2), Global Room Administrator (AO3), Immigration and Support Officer (AO3), and Engagement Officer (AO3).

Responsibilities:

The specific purpose of this contract is to manage and support the Trinity Global Experience team and other College student services activities across the entire lived experience of international students. This role is not being offered on a permanent basis as the development of a new institutional strategic plan and a new business plan to support its implementation in Trinity Global will necessitate a review of operations. The nature of this employment contract is specified purpose as the function of this role as outlined will be subject to this review and may not continue in its current form. The long-term capacity of the post will be contingent upon the outcome of the review.
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-3), Salary Scale (€67,506 - €87,328 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
