POSITION SUMMARY
The University of Providence TRIO Grant Program is seeking enthusiastic and academically strong students to join our peer tutoring team! As a Peer Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting university students by providing academic assistance and guidance.
About The Trio Grant Program: The TRIO Grant Program at the University of Providence is a federally funded program that provides academic support services to first-generation, low-income students, and students with disabilities. The program offers a variety of services, including peer tutoring, to help students succeed in their academic journey.

Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students enrolled in a variety of courses.
- Assist students with understanding course material, completing assignments, and developing effective study skills.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment for students.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student information.
- Attend training sessions to develop tutoring skills and stay updated on university resources.
