TROUBLE SHOOTER ENGINEER (Services) (M/F)
Trouble Shooter Engineer (Services) (m/f) is responsible for providing technical and fault finding expertise for the TRAXX locomotive type of rolling stock at Bruges, Benelux in general to support the service delivery, availability and reliability of the fleet.
Furthermore, you analyze the information and ensure that the necessary corrective measures are taken. You also start preventive actions.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Training in electrical installation technique / electromechanics or equivalent through experience
  • Experience in troubleshooting, testing, commissioning is a must
  • You also have the necessary knowledge of electricity, air conditioning, pneumatics or hydraulics
  • Escalates arising issues in a timely manner, communicates progress of operations
  • Willing to share suggestions for improvement
  • Autonomy, customer friendliness, inquisitiveness and sense of initiative are essential
  • Fluency in Dutch, English, knowledge of German is a plus

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Being part of, and providing technical support to the autonomous teams in the way of fault finding expertise and assistance with train repair activities.
  • Collate and analyse data from system event downloads to identify any failure trends / anomalies
  • Liaise with Fleet Engineers and provide technical assistance where required.
  • Identifying and rectifying faults in accordance with the safety regulations
  • Guaranteeing and optimizing the execution of the interventions by means of self-checking and functional
  • Testing if necessary
  • Analyzing the information and carrying out the necessary corrective measures
