Responsibilities:

EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION DUTIES:

  • Install and/or remove special components to equipment as required; example, installation of back up cameras or other electrical equipment
  • Follow schematics, installation manuals as required
  • Test and troubleshoot equipment upon completion of installation
  • Build special components to accommodate in installation of necessary equipment; may include welding tasks and fabrication
  • Document all equipment installations, repairs or work performed
  • Assist team members with preventative maintenance and repairs as required
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE & REPAIR DUTIES:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform pre-delivery inspections on equipment
  • Conduct diagnostics on equipment to provide insight into repair or work needed
  • Complete repairs quickly and efficiently and communicate with the Service Writer and Parts team
  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections
  • Update the Lead Hand or Service Manager on job progress and status changes
  • Keep the work area and tools organized and safe
