MONDAY TO FRIDAY | 38 HOURS PER WEEK | VARIOUS SHIFTS

Bradnam’s Windows and Doors are looking for Truck Drivers at our Rockhampton location. This role will positively contribute to the daily production requirements of the Branch by transporting and delivering manufactured products and materials in a safe and timely manner. You will also have the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service at each delivery and train, support learner drivers and offsiders when required.

Truck Drivers will undertake a variety of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Ensuring all vehicles and in a safe, well maintained, clean and tidy condition and that all items loaded onto trucks and trailers are secure before travel, assisting with loading and unloading as required;
  • Maintain driver diary and supporting paperwork in accordance with State and Federal Regulations;
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery instructions and obtain customer signatures upon delivery as required;
  • Complete all paperwork and check sheets as required and contribute to good housekeeping at the branch;
  • Demonstrate and uphold a commitment to safe work practices and comply with all site requirements regarding mandatory PPE, sign in or other processes and procedures
  • Travel within the Central Queensland region

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We will provide you with all the tools and product training required to see you succeed in role and bring the Bradnam’s Difference.

  • You will need a valid, unrestricted Driver’s Licence issued for the appropriate vehicle category.
  • Approach every task positively while demonstrating a commitment to safe work practices
  • A clear communicator who thrives when working as part of a team
  • Truck Licence MR preferred
