Truck Driver - Class 1- Edmonton local

Our company is a growing in its industry with operations located in Edmonton . We are looking for a F/T experienced and flexible Class 1 Driver. while also operating a 5 ton truck for our production facility in Edmonton.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager you will be responsible for:
· Following established local delivery schedules
· Picking up and delivering trailers in a safe manner
· Being compliant with safety and traffic laws
· Performing pre-trip, post-trip inspections and necessary preventative maintenance checks
· Completing other duties as requested by the Logistics Manager
· This position does not have a set schedule and will include driving days, evenings, weekends

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver License
· Minimum of two years’ experience
· Able to use computer equipment such as: cell phone, GPS and other automation
· Speak, read and write fluent English
· Current Commercial Drivers Abstract
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

• Class 1 Licence (preferred)
