Description:
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Truck Driver to join our team. You will be part of a team responsible for operating donation bins. The ideal candidate will be tasked with completing pickups and delivering goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communucation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with the job.
SKILLS
- Strong communications skills and ability to adhere to the given instructions.
- Must have Class 5 and / or G license, passenger car or light truck
- Experience in commercial driving, including knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Background in warehouse operations is beneficial for understanding logistics processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading tasks.
- Effective communication skills to relay information clearly between customers and team members.
- Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate vehicles (van or small truck) to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload bags and boxes of textile and miscellaneous items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency.
- Always carry, proof of valid driver’s license, valid plate permit registration, a copy of the Commercial Vehicle Operator
