Description:
The focus of this position is to be part of the Kindersley Co-op Petroleum Team. Applicants must come to work on time, with a positive attitude and approach to the job, and a strong awareness for safety in every task. This position requires the potential applicant to workdays, evenings and weekend shifts. This position requires ample amounts of walking, static standing, bending, twisting, and the ability to lift up to 50Ibs unassisted.
Responsibilities will include:
- Must possess outstanding customer service skills and be a self starter.
- Good interpersonal communication skills, Class 3A Driver’s license is required, Class 1A preferred.
- Carry out deliveries in a sale, timely and efficient manner.
- Provide a high standard of customer service to all Local Co-op employees and customers.
- Safe operation, preparation and inspection of delivery units.
- Maintain service records and clean delivery unit.
- Practice safe handling procedures.
- Other duties as required.
WE ARE IDEALLY SEEKING CANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous retail experience with knowledge of petroleum products is an asset.
- Self motivated, reliable, responsible, friendly, and hard working.
- Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid Class 3A or 1A Drivers licence.
- Commitment to cooperative values and principles.
- Possesses a sense of urgency, and customer first attitude.
- Ability to be physically active and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
