About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Offsider for our Maroochydore Family Store in a casual full-time capacity (22 hours per week). This position is based out of Maroochydore.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the General Retail award level 1

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Truck Driver with pick-up and delivery of all donated goods, in accordance with the schedule, and ensuring adherence to WHS manual handling procedures
• Offload donated items at designated location or site, notifying relevant team member/s and/or customers, and ensuring items are safety stored for sorting, testing, pricing as needed
• Assist with relief truck driving as needed, operating the vehicle in a safe and effective manner, in line with TSA policy and procedures
• Support the warehouse and/or retail operations and the movement of stock between stores and warehouse storage as needed.
• Ensure warehouse is free from clutter and hazards at all times
• Assist with packing, assembling, pricing or preparing goods for sale as needed
• Meet Occupational Health and Safety obligations in line with TSA Policy & Procedures & relevant legislation.
• Report all hazards, incidents and/or near misses to Line Manager and in line with policies and procedures

About You:

• Understanding of the value of second-hand goods with a wide knowledge on brands and goods.
• Demonstrated experience in warehouse role or similar
• Experience in retail and/or customer service environment is preferred
• Must be physically fit, this role involves standing for extending periods of time and push, pull and carry.
• A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
• A valid Driver’s license.
